Pick & choose the laws you like

We have now hit a new low. The President of the United States has not only sided with law breakers but has empowered them into protesting against the law of the land. Remember this, the law in Arizona is not a new law but a copy of existing Federal law. The President saying he is against this law is actually saying, I as President of the United States of America will selectively obey some federal law but will not obey others if I don’t like them. That is not the oath of office he took when he was sworn in as OUR president. And you wonder where people illegally in this country get the power to protest against a government of a country that they have effectively invaded. This situation is becoming more and more bizarre everyday. Was there some confusion when he took office? Read what he had to swear to. “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” Did I miss the part where he can be selective? Were the words unclear? From the President on down, have they forgotten that when they took office they were swearing an oath to the AMERICAN people. WE come first. Our rights come first. Our laws are designed to protect us first.

When they came here they broke our laws. And now to give them the power to organize and protest what they feel is discriminatory to them is just total nonsense. Legally these people have no right to be here? By what stretch of logic do they believe they have equal rights of legal citizens? And by what form of common sense do they believe that they have the right to openly protest to change laws designed to keep them out of our country? What makes the President or any member of Congress or any other elected official in this country think that the rights of legal citizens should be compromised in any way to accommodated people who have no such rights. It may be time for the American people to take a stand on this issue. If your elected official is in any way confused about who’s rights he needs to stand up for, then maybe it’s time to give them some time to work this problem out. But not in a government office.

We have laws in this country. And if you don’t like them, there is a process to get them changed. We have no right to ignore them or to selectively enforce them. The law is the law. And until something changes and makes that law unconstitutional, we live by the rule of law. You break the law, you pay the fine. You won’t enforce the law, you should lose your job. You don’t want to honor the oath you took, you should be voted out of office. This isn’t all that complicated.

With the open backing of the President and Congress the illegal population of this country is once again rubbing every Americans nose right in their crap. And yet again, who has to pay? With police overtime, medical services and cleaning up after the protesters leave. It would almost be impossible if you were one of them, to have any respect for any legal citizen. We are being made to look like a bunch of ignorant asses by them and our own government. Illegal means just what it sounds like. You are breaking the law. There must be more laws that Congress and the President think they don’t like and are not going to be enforced. As Americans we should have that list so we can break the law too and not have to worry about paying  the fine. We are already figuring out that a sworn oath taken by someone is meaningless. What else is out there? Or should I get the list from illegals? They already seem to know them all.

We are a country of laws. You people broken them when you crossed the border. You don’t like the way your being treated here? Then get the hell out. You have no right to protest anything here. But we do as Americans. And we  have the right to have you deported. We also ,as Americans who have so much to offer you that you would sneak into this country, deserve your respect. We speak english here. Show some respect and learn the language. You want to be here? Then learn what it means to be an American and play by the rules. Embrace this culture. Show some respect for this country and it’s people. Show your commitment to wanting to assimilate into this society.

Our elected officials are very wrong on this issue. Standing law decides who becomes a citizen of this country or not. The people have voted on this already. And the law also decides who is entitled to the protection under the laws of this country. And nowhere does it say that the people of this country come second to anyone. As Americans we have the right to assemble, the right to free speech and the right to protection under the law. And we have the right to vote. Make sure Congress understands this. If their not going to be openly for Americans 100% of the time, then it may be time to vote for someone who will.
